Sweetheart,
This crisp fall air in Texas has me tingly all over, inspired in a way I haven’t felt in months. I’m skipping ahead to SPIRIT theme this month. Going back over some old journals, I realized that for at least five years prior, October has been a reset month for me, recalibrating me back to spirit, back to connection with Self and Beyond.
Is it something in the air? Well, apart from October hosting my favorite holiday—Halloween, there’s something magical about the changing of the seasons that awakens something within. So I’m going to turn the volume up on SPIRIT theme and see if I can’t get you all connected too.
Today I’ll cover:
The Sun = God
Tips for raising your frequency in less than 5 minutes
A Psychedelic Women’s Gathering and Beyond Wonderland
The Sun Is the Closest Thing We Have to Source
About a year ago, I attended a 10-day silent meditation retreat. Ten hours of meditation a day. No talking, no phones, no books, no journals. Nothing but me and my mind. So many incredible insights emerged (read about the full experience here), but the one I’ll talk about today is the realization I had about the sun.
Every morning, we had the pleasure of a full sunrise experience just after breakfast. I’d walk out of the dining hall, stand outside in the brisk morning air, and take in the most epic arrival of the sun.
With my mind free of all distraction—emptied and clear—I was able to be so present with the sensory experience of the sunrise. As the red hue changed to orange, as yellow pierced through, bursting with warmth, light, and life, I was instantly filled with love. I understood in that moment: the sun is the closest representation we have to Source.
God is light. There is a warmth to love, and love is transmitted through light.
I felt God, and I felt love, through this powerful, warm, life-giving light.
There’s a reason early morning light in our eyes fights depression and pumps us up with natural dopamine. There’s a reason we feel low when we’ve been in cloudy, rainy weather for weeks. The good news? We have an unlimited supply and our own direct channel to Source’s love and light. Even if you don’t believe in God, stand outside in the early morning, watch the sunrise, and just try not to feel a lift in your mood.
Sound, Vibration & Light
I imagine that for many of my readers, this isn’t an earth-shattering revelation (maybe just a good reminder). That’s okay, stay with me. There’s more.
A few months before the retreat, I had a delicious 2CB and MDMA experience with some friends. I was lying on a pile of squishy blankets and pillows, listening to a fantastic music set and observing the light show. The lights were on a rotation, cascading off the walls and ceiling in the exact same sequence every 20 seconds or so, no variance whatsoever. The weird thing? Depending on which song was playing and which musical vibration was being emitted, the lights would appear darker, more opaque, or would transmit more light.
You might be thinking, “Olivia, you were on drugs”, and you’d be right😆. However, that experience taught me that sound and vibration emit, transmit, and obstruct light.
We are energetic, vibrational beings, and depending on what frequency we’re vibrating at, we can either transmit light (Source) or obstruct and block it (creating more Shadow).
Bear with me, I’m landing the plane, I promise.
Let’s take the lowest vibrational frequency: shame. Shame likes to hide in the shadows; it does not want to be seen. When someone is filled with the shame frequency, they seem opaque, dark, shrouded, like they’re wrapped in a dark cloak. Catch my drift?
Alternately, someone vibrating at the highest frequency—peace, joy, happiness—can appear almost translucent, beaming and radiating light (Source).
When we regulate our nervous systems, we’re able to vibrate peace and joy, connecting to the Divine. I like to call this our Ner-Vine system, when our nervous system is attuned to spirit instead of fear, we become a channel for light rather than a blockage for it.
🌞 3 Tools to Raise Your Frequency
This wouldn’t be the INtegration newsletter if I didn’t give you some practical tips on how to do this. Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Sunrise Practice
It’s baked into the newsletter. Wake up in time for the sunrise. Find a spot where you can really bask in all its glory. Allow the warmth to cascade on your face, eyes, mouth, and body. Experience the light in all its majesty. Feel its power, giving life to the entire planet. End with a somatic “thank you.”
2. Gratitude Practice
The perfect segue into my next favorite tool: gratitude. I created a 30-Day Gratitude Challenge on YouTube. Subscribe and watch one minute of gratitude every day for 30 days. Report back on any shifts you notice in your life.
3. Write Your Manifesto
Write out a manifesto of your values and beliefs, so that every time you read it, you raise your vibration up an octave with the sheer frequency of its truth for you. Here’s mine:
“I believe in God. I believe in United Consciousness. I believe in Love. I believe I am Love. I believe you are Love. I believe Love is God. I believe in Freedom, and I believe in Boundaries.
I believe in highs, and I believe in lows that are just as important as the highs. I believe in your right to hold beliefs that are different from mine. I believe in acceptance of both fairness and injustice. I believe in surrender to the uncontrollable and the unforeseeable. I believe that pain provides clarity, that loss provides value, that time provides perspective.
I believe in second chances, because my life was built on them. I believe that mistakes create character. I believe in congregating, copulating, and communicating. I believe in doing hard things and saying hard things. I believe in courage and curiosity. I believe heaven and hell are both places on earth and states within our mind.
I believe common ground will bond humankind. I believe that love sees not diversity, but similarities. I believe these are the blocks from which to build a diverse union.”

🎧What I’m Listening to
First thing every morning, I turn on frequency sounds; a super effective way to tune your internal instrument. I love this Youtube channel. Find the frequency that resonates with you. 432hz(root chakra) is my favorite. Additional perk, the baby boy in my tummy loves it too.
